Bali: Beachy Getaway

Selama ni, bila dengar Bali terus terbayang bercanda di tepi pantai sambil mandi-manda di dalam laut and repeat the same all over again.

So, here's the detail summary on where I went and what I ate at Bali. From Day 1 until the very last minutes.

Day 1
The first pit stop adalah makan. Lapar weh. Like, seriously?!! Tapi sebab aku memang dah cuba, maka aku pon percaya bahawa tulang ayam tu sangatlah lembutnya dan boleh dimakan.

Ayam Tulang Lunak Malioboro

Tengok kecak dance sambil tengok sunset. On the kecak dance, aku sebagai orang yang kurang berseni, tak reti sangat menghayati apa yang cuba disampaikan. Aku cuma faham melalui pembacaan, bukan melalui tarian tu sendiri. Hee~

Sambil tengok sunset

On the way back to Kuta, singgah dinner at Jinbaran. Inilah tempatnya untuk korang bercandle light dinner bersama si Dia. Tapi, aku dinner bersama si dia dan dia dan dia. Hahaha. Makanan, biasa je cuma environment yang mahal. Tapi jagung adalah sedap!

Dinner at Jinbaran

Eh sedapnya jagung berperisa chili butter and garlic butter

Day 2

Segala macam jenis watersport ada, seperti jetski, parasailing, banana boat, seawalker, wake board, snorkeling, diving and macam-macam lah. Tapi, aku rasa harganya agak pricey and susah nak cari aktiviti yang kesemua kami setuju. So end up tak buat watersport pon tapi pergi tour ke Pulau Penyu.

Tanjung Benoa Beach

Aku haruslah memegang kesemua binatang kecuali kelawar. Pegang ular for the first time, berperasaan geli sebab dia melekit and busuk. Euwwww!

Pantai kedua adalah Nusa Dua. Beach ni macam sangat sesuai untuk wedding. Tetibe membayangkan aku buat beach wedding ala-ala Marion Caunter gituu. Kalau aku buat beach wedding, ada orang nak attend tak kalau cost ditanggung sendiri? Hahahahaha~

Nusa Dua Beach | Suitable for beach wedding

Next kami ke Pandawa Secret Beach. Kunonnya rahsia sebab dia tersorok sikit and baru open to public. Before this, seaweed diternak kat sini but now since it's already open to public, dah tak ada dah penternakan seaweed.

Ombak kuat, pantai bersih, memang superb. If korang perlu memilih satu beach untuk mandi manda, sila pilih Dreamland Beach, okay?

Dreamland Beach yang super lawa

Makanan Sunda. One of the recommended halal restaurant in Bali. Memang sedap weh. Kitorang siap tambah sup bontot lagi semangkuk sebab sedap sangat. and esoknya siap nak repeat makan kat sini sebab kesedapan yang melampau. Over, eh? Tapi kesimpulannya, kalau pergi Bali mesti try makan kat sini, okay?

Dinner at Pawon Pasundan

Day 3
Pengorbanan perlu dilakukan untuk melihat dolphin. Sebabnya? And 1 jam menaiki bot. So memang sangat lama. Bergerak dari hotel pukul 3 pagi, tido beround-round pon masih tak sampai. Pfft! Depends on rezeki korang, tapi rezeki kitorang hari tu Alhamdulillah. Dapatlah tengok dolphin bekejar-kejaran di depan mata. Tips untuk menarik dolphin ialah dengan bersiul. Macam mana cara nak bersiul panggil dolphin, silalah cari di You Tube, okay? Hee~

Sempat menikmati sun rise di Lovina Beach

Misi mencari dolphin beramai-ramai

Dah penat tengok dolphin, dan dolphin pon penat tgk kitorang, let's go back to nature by chilling at the waterfall. Namanya Gitgit Twin Waterfall. Sebab waterfall ni ada dua cabang. Boleh mandi tapi hari tu aku tak mandi pon. Selalunya akulah hantu air, tapi entahlah kenapa. Mungkin sebab tak ramai orang and also kat tempat orang so macam tak berapa feel nak mandi.

Gitgit Twin Waterfall

Bedugul Tasik Beratan. Banyak pokok-pokok and plus tempat ni dikelilingi tasik. View memang cantik so banyak masa dihabiskan untuk tangkap gambar and selfieeeeee.

Bedugul Tasik Beratan

Makan di Restaurant Pacung berkonsepkan buffet. Makanannya biasa-biasa je tapi view dia superb. Memang breathtaking. View adalah lebih menarik daripada makanan.

Lunch at Pacung Restaurant with nice view of rice terraces

Oops!

Coffee and Tea Tasting at Subak Bali Agro Coffee

Also one of the famous temple at Bali: Tanah Lot. Everybody comes for the view and also untuk shoppinggggg.

Pura Tanah Lot

Ini satu lagi recommended Bali restaurant with halal food. And sama macam Pawon Pasundan, konsepnya adalah makanan Sunda. Makanan sedap, tempat lawa, harga berpatutan. Plus point, ada surau lagi. =P

Bale Udang

Nice view

Satisfied customer

Day 4
Pfft! Kuta Beach dikhaskan untuk surfers. Siap ada signage dilarang mandi lagi. Biar betul hoi? End up, melompat-lompatan di pantai sebelum bermandi manda di swimming pool.

Bergumbira di Kuta Beach

Mulanya aku pandang rendah kat pool ni, sebab kebesarannya yang tak berapa besar, tapi rupanya, pool ni superb giler. Sebabnya, kedalaman dia 2.5 meter. Best wehh. So apa lagi, tak dapat mandi laut kita mandi pool jelah wehhh.

2.5m deep pool wehhh!

So now, the vacation is over and it is time to back to reality and normal life. Overall, Bali was awesome and beautiful. Sangat lawa!

Time to balik Malaysia

So, where's our next vacation? =)

About Dinner and Bodycon Dress

The company’s annual dinner is around the corner and I’m currently excited to shop new dress to wear to the dinner. Shopppppping! The theme is red and black and because I’m just a simple (not to forget adorable) young girl-lah sangat, so I just want to find a nice red dress to wear to the dinner. Pretty bored, huh?

Anyway, semasa proses pencarian dress, barulah tau rupanya banyak sangat type of dress yang wujud di muka bumi ni. Ish. Nampak sangat tak berapa keperempuanan sebab lack of this knowledge. Pfft! There’s evening dress, peplum dress, mini dress, maxi dress, cut out dress and the bizarre one is the bodycon dress. I said it bizarre because I never heard of this before. *facepalm*

I’m curious to know what the heck is this bodycon dress so I did a little research and whoa! The findings were amazing. It is not just a dress but it a dress with many styles. You can wear the same dress with different styles without people even noticing that you are wearing the same dress every day. Like, seriously? For example, boleh pakai dengan outerwear, such as jacket or cardigan untuk nampak macam ala-ala dekat oversea. Or boleh pakai dengan crop top or baby T untuk pergi dating (Oops!) and untuk nampak macam pakai skirt. And boleh jugak pakai seluar / leggings pastu pakai jacket supaya nampak lebih sopan. Sesuai sangat untuk travel sebab pakai satu baju je sepanjang vacation. Boleh takk?

So lepas ni kalau ada orang cakap pasal bodycon dress, korang taklah tertanya-tanya apa tu bodycon dress kan?

Enough about the bodycon dress, now jom kembali dengan misi mencari dress untuk annual dinner saya. Mari! Kalau ada ilmu baru lagi saya share okay? *wink*

Midlife Crisis

I'm currently feeling so down with my current self. In terms of physical appearance, achievements in life and also in terms of the purpose of life. So I googled the symptoms and found out that there are the symptoms for mid life crisis, which normally occurs for people aged 40 and above. Maybe my life span is only up to 60 years old so this is the right time for me of having this crisis, when I'm about to hit 30. *sigh*

Let me give some elaboration on how I feel right now so you have a clearer pictures.

Physical appearance

This is me 3 years back, at my heaviest weight. Yes, I lose a lot of kilos during these years but for now, the number seems to increase. I never cared about the number previously but lately it is kind of disturbing. I feel "bloated", although my current self is not as "bloated" as the old me in the pictures. I also don't know why I feel so down with myself, maybe because it takes me too long to lost weight. But I know exactly where I've gone wrong; I love to eat and I did not exercise regularly. So it is nobody's fault but myself.

Despite feeling "bloated", I also feel unattractive. Yes, beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. But, my skin is became darker because I just get back from two island getaway, and the acne is started to take place at my skin and that makes it worst. I never felt like this before. I'm actually a very positive person and it is very hard to see me upset. I'm the type of person who will scold people who are calling me fat because I always said to them that "I'm not fat, I'm obese!" That's to explain how positive I am. But now, I don't know where is the positive attitude, but pleaseeeeee I need them to make me feel confident with myself again. Oh, I hate this feeling!

 Achievement in life

People might have see me as a successful woman (maybe yes, maybe no). Working as an engineer in one of the establish company in Malaysia, and involve in a mega project. But, the reality is, I don't know what I'm doing here. I don't feel like an engineer, and I don't think that I will be a good engineer, not today nor in a 5 years time. Although on paper I have almost 7 years of engineering experience, I don't really feel like an engineer. At this point of time, I just feel like a crap. I don't know my career path anymore and I really don't know if engineering is the right career for me. But, if I don't do engineering, what should I do then? Arggggggh.

Purpose of life

The second point makes me wandered this third point; what is the exact purpose of life? According to Islam, the purpose of life is to worship Allah. With my current lifestyle, I leave to work early and come back late, and repeat the same things for 5 days in a week, therefore I don't think that I will be a good slave. I pray 5 times a day, and always give excuses to do other than that. Maybe I'm too busy chasing after the world and leaving behind akhirah. Astagfirullah. This needs to change!

So, I need to do something to avoid this crisis. I need to do something before it is too late. And of course I need to do something to feel happy again. Therefore, please wish me luck! And please pray for me.
